VERA on Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses

Eyes up, phone away. VERA on site and on board.

VERA runs on Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, so a site manager or a ship's engineer works with VERA without reaching for a phone. A small gesture on the wristband, and their attention stays on the job. She sees what they see, answers in the moment and writes it all down as they go.

Live with our pilot customers today, rolling out to everyone as Meta opens the platform

What VERA does on the glasses

A second pair of eyes that knows your work.

She sees what you see

Look at something and ask. VERA looks through the glasses with you, reads what is in front of you and answers in the moment.

Eyes up, phone away

A small gesture on the Meta Neural Band or a touch on the frame, and dictation instead of typing. Your phone stays in your pocket.

Photos become proof

VERA takes the photo, describes what it shows and files it in the right place: the project, the room, the vessel, the task.

Reports as you walk

Site walks, inspections and checks turn into written reports and analysis while you are still walking.

A companion all day

The same VERA who listens first. When the day gets heavy, she notices, and helps you settle before the next thing.

Nothing without a yes

VERA looks when you ask her to. Nothing is sent, shared or changed until you say yes.

On a construction site

The site walk writes itself.

The person wearing the glasses looks, asks and keeps working. VERA sees what they see, flags what is missing and builds the report on the same eleven layers as the rest of the project.

  • Look, ask, and get an answer about what is in front of you
  • Every photo lands on the right project, room and task
  • Reports organized by service, architecture, engineers, labor and vendors
  • The right trade is told only after you approve

Engine room check

“Is this reading normal?”
Reading the gauge for you
Logged against this vessel's service history
Follow-up for the captain, once you approve

On board

A second pair of eyes in the engine room.

For crews and service teams, VERA looks at the gauge, the part or the damage with you, and connects it to the vessel, the job and the client, without anyone reaching for a phone.

  • Inspections and service checks written up as you go
  • Photos filed to the right vessel and job
  • Questions answered with the vessel's own history
  • Nothing goes to the client or the office without a yes

Availability

Running on the glasses today. Public availability follows as Meta opens submissions.

VERA is one of the first field operations platforms built for Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, live today with our pilot customers. Here is exactly where things stand.

Live for pilots now

VERA runs on Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses today for our team and every pilot customer we set up, added with a QR code or a link.

Public release next

Meta hasn't opened public submission and discovery of glasses apps yet. When it does, anyone will be able to find and add VERA.

How you use her

A gesture on the Meta Neural Band or a touch on the frame, and dictation to ask. VERA works alongside Meta's own assistant.

Questions

Straight answers.

Can I download VERA onto my glasses today?

Not from a store yet. VERA runs on the glasses today for our team and for every pilot customer we set up: we send you a QR code or a link, and VERA is added to your glasses. Meta hasn't opened public submission and discovery of glasses apps yet. When it does, VERA will be there for everyone. Join the pilot below to start now.

Which glasses does VERA work with?

Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses with the Meta Neural Band, in the countries where Meta offers them.

How do I talk to VERA?

Open VERA on your glasses. You move around with a small gesture on the Neural Band or a touch on the frame, and you ask by dictation, handwriting or the on-screen keyboard. Meta's assistant stays on your glasses as it is; VERA works alongside it.

Can I just say "Hey VERA"?

Not yet. Glasses apps can't have their own wake word today. Meta is previewing a way for its assistant to open app features just by asking, and we'll use it as soon as it's ready.

Is it the same VERA as on my phone?

Yes. The same VERA, the same safety rules and the same approach: she listens first, helps you settle, and then helps with the next useful thing.

What happens to what the glasses see?

VERA looks only when you ask her to. Photos and notes go only where you approve, and your conversations are never used to train models.
